We are seeking a skilled and passionate Demi chef de partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. As Demi chef de partie, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of the kitchen.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
* Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace
* Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
* Assist in meal preparation for special events or large parties as required
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service
* Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
* Participate in training new kitchen staff as needed
Experience
* Previous kitchen experience is essential, preferably in a restaurant setting
* Culinary experience with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
* Experience in serving and presenting dishes attractively is an advantage
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality
