Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role based in Brighton for a Block Manager. The Block Manager will oversee a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring the effective delivery of property management services and maintaining excellent client relationships. Additional responsibilities include coordinating and overseeing maintenance, managing budgets, liaising with leaseholders and freeholders, conducting regular property inspections, and addressing compliance requirements within property regulations. The role involves timely resolution of property-related issues, handling service charge budgets, reporting to managers, and working collaboratively with internal teams.
Qualifications
* Experience in Property Management, including managing residential blocks, coordinating maintenance, and overseeing property compliance efforts
* Strong organizational and budget management skills, with experience handling service charge accounts and financial planning
* Excellent communication, relationship management, and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders
* Problem-solving and negotiation skills to resolve leaseholder issues and manage external contractors with confidence
* Familiarity with relevant property regulations and compliance; membership in a professional body such as ARLA or IRPM is desirable
* Proficiency with property management software and tools, along with good computer literacy
