Multi Skilled Operative - Roofing
Location: Spennymoor
Salary: £28,850.68 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent
Join a team that keeps homes safe, warm, and secure. Were currently recruiting a Multi Skilled Operative with a roofing background to join a busy Property Maintenance and Construction team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and capable individual with roofing experience to contribute to high-quality repairs and maintenance services across domestic and commercial properties.
Responsibilities
* Assist trade staff in carrying out roofing-related works to a high standard
* Support a wide range of maintenance activities across properties
* Ensure excellent customer service is delivered alongside quality workmanship
* Work safely and efficiently, following health and safety regulations and procedures
* Respond to work requests within a target-driven environment
What Were Looking For
* Essential Experience and Skills:
* Experience working at height and with roofing materials
* Approx. 3 years of on-site training or practical experience
* CSCS card (appropriate to the role)
* Familiarity with working in both domestic and commercial property settings
* Understanding of risk assessments and ability to follow safe systems of work
* Ability to interpret and work from construction drawings
* Strong knowledge of building construction, materials, and general building trades
* Ability to adapt, work positively through change, and communicate effectively
* You will also need the flexibility to carry out multi-skilled trade tasks when required.
