The Opportunity
Our client, a well-established and growing insurance provider, is seeking an experienced Insurance Sales Executive with a background in commercial insurance to join their sales team. This role offers the opportunity to manage and develop a portfolio of commercial clients while driving new business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Generate new commercial insurance business through inbound and outbound sales activity
2. Advise SME and commercial clients on appropriate insurance solutions
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing commercial clients
4. Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to policy placement and renewal
5. Prepare and present accurate quotations across commercial insurance products
6. Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and KPIs
7. Ensure all sales activity is compliant with regulatory and company standards
8. Maintain detailed and accurate records using CRM and internal systems
9. Stay up to date with commercial insurance products, market trends, and regulations
Candidate Profile
10. Proven experience in commercial insurance sales (essential)
11. Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products (e.g. property, liability, motor, package policies)
12. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
13. Target-driven with a professional and consultative sales approach
14. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
15. Strong organisational and time-management skills
16. Relevant insurance qualifications or willingness to obtain them
17. Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
