As our counsellor, you will work with the adults in our residential children's homes to develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring their emotional and psychological well-being. Your ability to communicate effectively and utilise IT systems will be essential in maintaining accurate records and facilitating client interactions. Duties Conduct thorough assessments of adult's mental health needs. Develop individualised care plans tailored to each adult's unique circumstances. Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support clients in achieving their goals. Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Stay informed about the latest developments in psychotherapy practices and mental health research. Experience A recognised qualification in psychotherapy or counselling is essential. Previous experience working in a clinical setting is highly desirable. Proficiency in developing care plans and utilising IT systems for record keeping is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for effective client interaction. A commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical guidelines in practice.
