The role involves processing production and ensuring that Hygiene, Quality and Health and Safety standards are maintained. A key element of this role is to work as part of a team to ensure that production KPI’s are achieved.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Machinery and equipment safety checks as necessary;
2. Maintain appropriate records for department;
3. To operate a Counterbalance Forklift as and when required;
4. To fulfil daily production requirements as instructed by the Line Leader/ Production Management Team;
5. Responsible to keeping downtime and waste to a minimum.
The Person:
6. A minimum of one years experience in a food manufacturing environment;
7. Experience of operating a Counterbalance Forklift;
8. Demonstrate excellent communication and problem solving skills;
9. Good level of written and spoken English;
10. Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines & targets.
Hours of work for the role are Monday to Friday Week 1 – 2.00pm -10.30pm, Week 2 – 5.30pm- 2.00am.
