Role Description
This is a full-time role in the United Kingdom, for an FMCG Field service Engineer at GSH Holdings. The Field Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting advanced packaging machinery and systems, ensuring their efficient operation, minimal downtime, and adherence to safety standards. Additional day-to-day tasks include equipment installation, conducting regular maintenance checks, and providing technical support and training to clients. The candidate will work closely with the operations and packaging teams to optimize performance and improve processes.
Qualifications
* Hands-on experience with packaging machinery, systems maintenance, and diagnostics
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with an ability to ensure operational efficiency
* Skill in providing technical support and conducting training for clients
* Knowledge of health and safety standards applicable to the FMCG and packaging industry
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management abilities
* Technical certification or degree in Engineering, Mechanics, or a related field
* Proficiency with the latest tools, software, and technology used in industrial packaging machinery
* Willingness to travel within the United Kingdom as required
* Previous experience in the FMCG or packaging industry is a plus
