Your new companyYour new job working as a Renewals Technician will be based in Bedford. Due to their continued growth over the last 20 years, a permanent role for a renewals consultant has arisen.Your new roleYour new role as a renewals technician means you will play a key role in generating renewals for your team as well as dealing with any issues with other insurance providers/brokers where necessary. You will be speaking with existing customers about their policies that are coming up for renewal to build rapport with the view to renew their policy for the coming year. Alongside this, you will be taking the details required for the policies, ensuring every piece of information is correct and managing the relevant paperwork. You will be scoping out opportunities for other potential insurance policies to quote to or referrals to pass over to the sales team.What you'll need to succeedPrevious experience within the insurance industry would benefit you in this role. You will need a proven track record in customer services/sales/account management in order to succeed in this role. This, alongside strong attention to detail and a driven and hungry approach towards sales is vital for the position.
