Do you enjoy working with people and want to make a real difference?

We currently have a Support Worker opportunity for a caring, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our support team in Milton of Campsie near Kirkintilloch. This is a full time position (37.5 hours per week)

Our Support Workers work in a flexible and customer-led manner that meets the needs and preferences of people we support, enabling them to live the life they choose.

You will need to be flexible, committed and dedicated to supporting an individual who has complex autism, having an ability to follow a detailed care and support plan. You will work as part of an established team and have an understanding of how to effectively communicate with someone who does not use verbal speech, you will be able or willing to spend time getting to know this individual and build a trusting relationship. Having an ability to deal with complex situations and problem solve is essential with an ability to self-reflect and work with your colleagues to make any necessary support changes.

We want to hear from dedicated team players with experience in supporting adults with Autism who are willing to adapt their approach to provide innovative, person-centred support to this individual and support him to achieve his goals.

Applicants must hold a full UK driving license and be able to drive a manual vehicle.
