The newly established provision supports children with communication and interaction needs in a bespoke, nurturing environment.
You will join a dedicated team working in a resourced provision classroom, supporting up to 8 children in KS2 alongside the class teacher and two additional Teaching Assistants.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting pupils with SEND in their learning and development
* Promoting independence and emotional wellbeing
* Assisting with planning and delivering tailored activities
* Creating a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
What you'll need to succeed
* A Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)
* Experience working with children with SEND, ideally in KS2
* A calm, patient and flexible approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
