Head of Learning and Development required to set up and launch an inhouse academy function for a leading engineering business based from the Midlands with UK coverage. This is a unique opportunity to design, create and implement a Learning and development offering alongside an internal academy designed to train apprentices and employees at all levels throughout the business.
Responsibilities
* Engage training providers
* Design the learning offering
* Launch the academy and training platform internally and externally
* Develop the leaning portal
* Manage the academy and group interaction
* Liaise with colleagues and develop a talent pipeline
* Self‑motivated and able to work to a strategic brief
* Great communication skills and able to gain buy‑in across a group of companies
* Create an engaged environment where employees can access relevant development skills and training
* Creative and able to deliver a vision and vision implementation
* Brilliant relationship building skills – able to work as a Brand Ambassador for the business
* Passionate and driven. Able to take a concept, design it and make it a reality
