Building Surveyor – Housing Team
London Diocesan Fund is seeking to appoint a Building Surveyor to its Housing team.
Background
The Diocese of London comprises roughly 400 parishes north of the River Thames and within the M25 motorway, plus schools, chaplaincies, missional communities, and other organisations. The LDF’s property portfolio, valued at over £1bn, includes approximately 450 clergy housing assets and 150 other assets that may be used for clergy or let on the open market. The Housing team is responsible for all ongoing works, quinquennial works, compliance, refurbishments and planned and reactive maintenance.
Responsibilities
* Lead the strategic direction and delivery of the quinquennial surveying programme, planning, scheduling and completing surveys personally or via external consultants.
* Manage and maintain robust project tracking systems to ensure surveys and associated works are completed on schedule.
* Continuously improve service levels and promote strong health and safety practices, ensuring full compliance with relevant standards.
Qualifications
* Relevant professional industry accreditation – MRICS, RIBA or MCIOB.
