We are seeking
an IT Analyst/Programmer to join an existing team of epidemiologists, clinicians, statisticians, geneticists, data scientists, project managers, software developers and systems testers to support the long-term continuation and further development of the CKB study. Your key responsibilities will be to design, develop, enhance and maintain robust and user-friendly IT systems and programs (chiefly using C++ Builder). To be considered for the IT Analyst/Programmer role you will have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field. You will have demonstrable experience in at least one Object-Oriented programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, or similar) as well willingness and ability to learn C++ as required for the role. You will also have excellent written and oral communication skills. The position is full time (part time considered) and fixed term for 2 years in the first instance.
