Due to a number of exciting new project wins, particularly within the Healthcare sector, we’re looking to strengthen our team in Leeds with the addition of a Senior Mechanical Engineer.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a key technical role within a growing team, delivering innovative and sustainable building services solutions across a range of projects.
Here’s what you’ll do:
* Report to the Associate Team Leader and take responsibility for mechanical design.
* Provide specialist technical input to studies and designs, supporting and mentoring junior and graduate engineers.
* Participate in interdisciplinary design reviews and contribute to high-quality project deliverables.
* Carry out quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings.
* Prepare detailed technical specifications and documentation.
* Support the development of engineering budgets and project schedules.
* Apply a solid understanding of mechanical building services design software and industry standards.

Qualifications
Ready to push the limits of what’s possible?
Requirements:
* Successful track record of mechanical building services design
* Good understanding of software packages used to design mechanical building services systems
* Experience in delivering projects using BIM software packages
* Experience of low carbon systems, design and how to influence the built environment to reduce carbon emissions
* The ability to understand IES or other calculation packages
* Degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering
* Working towards membership of a relevant professional body such as CIBSE
