Electrical Plant Workshop Engineer – £40,000 + Excellent Benefits

About the Role
Join a hands-on engineering team where you'll play a key part in preparing, maintaining, and improving our market-leading plant equipment. This role offers variety, technical challenge, and the chance to work with customers, field engineers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Install safety systems, calibrate equipment, and test plant specifications
* Prepare plant for sale, including decals, testing, and paint touch-ups
* Complete PDI inspections on incoming and outgoing machinery
* Refurbish and repair older machines
* Diagnose faults and equipment defects
* Support field engineers with diagnostics
* Assist Training staff with customer engineering training
* Provide technical support to R&D teams
* Support Dealer network with maintenance and testing
* Maintain engineering, H&S, and customer service records
Skills & Experience
* Electrical engineering experience (12/24v DC automotive or plant systems)
* CAN bus knowledge (ideal but not essential)
* Level 2 or 3 engineering qualification
* Strong attention to detail and consistent workmanship
* Ability to follow electrical and hydraulic diagrams
* Confident fault-finding and problem-solving
* Customer-facing communication skills
* IT and administrative competence
* Full driving licence
* Team-focused approach
