Contract Details
* Business Area: Transportation
* Contract: Permanent, Full Time (39 hours per week)
* Salary: £13.45 - £15.34 per hour + overtime + standby + call out + uplift

Your Responsibilities
As a Highways Maintenance Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Area 3 network. Your daily tasks will include:
* Carrying out highways maintenance duties as instructed, including winter maintenance when necessary.
* Responding promptly to incidents on the network.
* Promoting excellent customer care by collaborating with team members to assist clients and network users courteously.
* Conducting daily defect reports on vehicles and ensuring they are well-maintained.
* Notifying the Regional Network Hub Control Centre about the start and end of winter maintenance and managing Roadspace for Traffic Management.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you possess:
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A valid UK Driving Licence.
* Experience and knowledge of strict Health & Safety operations and their practical implications.
* The flexibility to work night shifts (with payment uplift available).
