Job Description
As a Software Test Engineer, you will support our Electronic Warfare line of business, working on a range of defence projects. Direct industry experience is not essential; we are happy to explore all backgrounds and help develop the right individuals.
We want to develop a new generation of features and capabilities, and you will be a key part in a community of world‑class software engineers who will continuously improve, collaborate and innovate with other engineers to create market‑leading products within the defence industry.
Your impact
As a key contributor to the test engineering team, you will design and execute test plans, identify defects, and work closely with developers to ensure product robustness and compliance with security standards.
What You’ll Bring
* ISTQB Foundation level
* Good analytical skills
* Background in embedded systems or Windows application testing
* Good communication skills
* Agile Testing experience
* Coding experience
This is not an exhaustive list, and we are keen to hear from you even if you might not have experience in all the above. The most important skill is a good attitude and willingness to learn.
Security Clearance
This role is subject to pre‑employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Security Check (SC). An additional range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply, which could include meeting the eligibility requirements for Developed Vetting (DV).
