The Role:
We're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Health Project Worker to join our team. In this part-time role (15 hours per week), you will support health and wellbeing projects, deliver engaging sessions, and build strong relationships within the community. You will represent Hamara at local events, network meetings, and ensure the smooth delivery of activities in line with our values and funder requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver health and wellbeing sessions, workshops, and outreach activities in community settings.
* Engage with community members to encourage participation and promote healthier lifestyles.
* Record feedback and attendance to support project monitoring and evaluation.
* Promote Hamara's services through leaflets, social media, and events.
* Ensure activities are delivered safely and in line with Hamara's policies on safeguarding, equality, and health & safety.
What We're Looking For:
* Essential:
* Experience working or volunteering in a community, health, or wellbeing setting.
* Confidence in delivering sessions or leading groups.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage your own workload.
* Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as required.
* Desirable:
* Knowledge of local health and wellbeing priorities in Leeds.
* Experience with network meetings or partnerships.
* Basic IT and administrative skills (Microsoft Office, social media, etc.).
