We’re recruiting for experienced CNC Miller and CNC Turner Setter Operators to join a well-established, busy engineering manufacturer in the St Ives area.
This is a stable, long-term opportunity offering strong earning potential and a supportive workshop environment.
The Role
1. Setting and operating CNC Mills or Lathes
2. Working from detailed engineering drawings
3. Small to medium batch work
4. Tool changes, offsets, and minor program edits
5. Producing precision components to tight tolerances
6. Self-inspection and quality checks
What We’re Looking For
7. Proven experience as a CNC Miller or Turner Setter Operator
8. Confident setting machines independently
9. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
10. Experience working to tight tolerances
11. Reliable, punctual, and quality-focused
12. Team player with a proactive attitude
