Youll be joining us at an exciting time, as you will be instrumental in helping us grow Penelope as a business whilst assisting our portfolio of charities, social enterprises and not for profit organisations deliver their valuable work in society.
About you
We are looking for a detail-orientated business support administrator who will facilitate in different aspects of the day-to-day operations at Penelope. From assistance with process improvement, data management, problem solving, enhancing productivity, teamwork and excellent customer service.
You will have attention to the tinest details and have excellent communication skills with a strong customer service ethic; an excellent communicator, with well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to streamline and improve processes.
Examples of what you would be doing on a day-to-day basis:
Assisting with bookkeeping and record keeping of inventory/stock, etc
Multitasking on projects
Spearhead process and organisational improvements
Assisting with client on-boardings, ensuring that everyone on the team has what they need to do their job
Organising and reviewing invoices/charges for our clients
Organising and reviewing stock levels
Lead management and followup with potential clients
Enhance customer retention
Ensure that we are sticking to best practice processes that we have outlined and are refining
Educating clients about company products and services and how to make a purchase
Communicating with clients and building positive relationships with our clients
Preparing plans to help streamline and improve business operations
As a business support administrator, you will be:
Analytical, numerate, data oriented, results driven.
Highly computer literate and proficient in all Microsoft office platforms
Flexible and adaptable
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organised, efficient and the ability to multitask.
Ability to be proactive and take the initiative whilst maintaining attention to detail.
Good research skills, data analysis and the ability to translate complex data into a simple format
Excellent bookkeeping skills and proficiency with relevant computer software
Excellent filing and sorting skills and the ability to manage business correspondence
Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting deadlines.
Highly Self-motivated with a proactive approach and flexible in a busy changing environment.
