A growing SME is looking for a proactive, highly organised Senior Administrator / Executive Assistant to support its CEO and wider business operations. This is a hands-on, varied role combining executive support, business administration, project coordination, and elements of HR administration. It's ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and takes real ownership of getting things done. This role would suit someone with strong administrative experience who is confident coordinating priorities, supporting leadership, and improving how things run day-to-day. What you'll do Provide high-level support to the CEO, including diary management, emails, meetings, travel, and stakeholder communications Prepare agendas, documents, briefings, and ensure actions are tracked through to completion Coordinate and support small business projects and operational tasks Support office operations, supplier coordination, and general administration Assist with HR administration including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and liaison with external HR support Maintain strong internal organisation across systems, files, and workflows Drive efficiency and improvement through the use of AI and productivity tools (including ChatGPT and similar platforms) About You Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Senior Administrator, or similar role supporting senior leadership (ideally within an SME) Highly organised, proactive, and confident working independently Strong communication skills with a professional and discreet approach Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Able to take ownership and see tasks through from start to finish Strong attention to detail with a practical, problem-solving mindset IT & Systems Skills Confident with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace Strong general IT skills and quick to learn new systems and software Comfortable working with a variety of digital tools to improve efficiency Interest in using modern technology, automation, and AI tools to streamline work and increase productivity What's on offer Salary of £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience) Opportunity to work closely with the CEO and directly impact business operations Varied role covering executive support, administration, HR, and coordination Exposure to modern tools, systems, and AI-driven ways of working Long-term opportunity within a growing SME This is a great opportunity for someone ready to step into a pivotal role and make a real impact in how a business runs day to day, supporting the CEO to operate efficiently and effectively.
