Jobstore are recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor for a temporary position in Shifnal. This is a position covering afternoons 3.00pm to 6.30pm Monday to Friday.
Duties
* Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
* Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
* Empty trash bins and replace liners
* Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
* Organise and motivate the team
* Schedule the staff rota, ensuring all shifts are covered to deliver effective cleans throughout the school.
Skills
* Attention to detail: Ability to notice and address small details to ensure a thorough cleaning
* Time management: Efficiently complete tasks within designated time frames
* Physical stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
* Communication skills: Ability to understand and follow instructions from supervisors
* Team Management: Ability to lead a team working collaboratively with other cleaners or staff members
Requirements
* Minimum 1 years’ experience in a cleaning supervisory role
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Good knowledge of health & safety in a cleaning environment
* Enhanced DBS certificate
* Excellent communication skills and previous leadership experience is essential for this position.
