Overview
We are now looking to recruit a Catering Facilitator to join us to support the Catering Manager in the running of our newly renovated Bistro and Enterprise outlets, ensuring staff and students have access to appropriate equipment, materials and resources in lessons and that health and safety policies and procedures are in place and adhered to. You will also support the Catering Manager in the general duties associated with the food production and catering provision.
Responsibilities
* Support the Catering Manager in running the catering provision and day-to-day operations in the Bistro and Enterprise outlets.
* Ensure staff and students have access to appropriate equipment, materials and resources in lessons.
* Ensure health and safety policies and procedures are in place and adhered to.
* Assist with general duties related to food production and catering provision.
Qualifications
* Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Professional Cookery or similar.
* Level 2 food hygiene certificate (or willingness to work towards this).
* Wide range of cooking abilities and knowledge; previous experience in an education setting.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to develop effective working relationships.
* This is a part-time role for 35 hours per week, term-time only.
