We are seeking Teaching Assistants who will support all students to access learning and to assist the teacher/practitioner in charge in the management of
students and the classroom. This will include support with personal hygiene/care, postural management and other educational interventions as directed by the teacher. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area or across the age range and ability range of students in the school.
The postholder will be expected to use good common sense and initiative in all matters relating to:
* the conduct and behaviour of individuals, groups of students and whole classes
* the correct use and care of materials/resources by individual and small groups of students
* the safety, mobility and hygiene and well-being of the students
This role involves engaging with students in regulated activity relevant to children.
