Job Title: Mechanical Estimator Location: Preston Salary: Up to £70,000 Package Job Purpose: Join a rapidly growing Northern Based Building Services organisation as a Mechanical Estimator. You will be part of the commercial team, pricing new project works and working closely with the contracts managers to allocate resources to each project. This role is Based out of their Head Office and out on site when required, focusing on pulling together projects costings and prices to send out to clients, occasional meetings with clients as and when required. Why You Should Apply: £45,000 - £70,000 Salary Dependant on Experience 24 days Bank holidays Company sick pay Death in service Private pension HealthCare Health & wellbeing programme Responsibilities: Multiple quotes and tenders Performing market research on costings and prices to remain competitive Collaborating with the contracts managers to develop strategies for work resource allocation and in how to add value to a quote Working with other departments on delivery of projects and service and maintenance KPI’s to adhere to pricing Maintaining and updating the CRM system with client information Nurturing client accounts to ensure long-term relationships Key Skills/Attributes & Experience: Proven experience in Estimating from a Technical Building Services background Strong commercial acumen, understanding of costing Proficiency in using software and or other CRM systems Experience in Client management (desirable) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills This role would suit someone who has worked within the Building Services, Construction, Industrial Maintenance, Facilities Management, or Hire industries, or within similar sectors.
