Job Opportunity
As a Market Research Analyst at Verian Group, you will support the delivery of research projects that inform public policy and improve public services. Working within a collaborative team, you will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting data from a variety of sources, including surveys, interviews, and public datasets. Your work will help provide evidence-based recommendations for clients across government and the public sector. Key responsibilities include: - Assisting with the design and administration of research projects, including survey development and data collection. - Analysing quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, patterns, and insights. - Preparing clear and concise reports, presentations, and visualisations for clients and stakeholders. - Supporting the communication of findings to diverse audiences. - Liaising with clients and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met and timelines are adhered to. - Maintaining data quality and compliance with ethical standards. You will receive full training and ongoing support as you develop your research and analytical skills. This is a hybrid role, allowing you to split your time between our offices and working remotely.
Essential Skills
Essential: - Strong interest in market research, public policy, or consultancy. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail. - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. - Eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship. Desirable: - Degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant subject such as social sciences, business, or economics. - Previous experience in research, analysis, or a customer-facing role is advantageous but not essential. - Enthusiasm for working with data and presenting findings to others. - Confidence in engaging with colleagues and clients from diverse backgrounds.
