We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a part time Coffee Shop Supervisor working in our coffee shop. This role does include some weekend working, however does not include late evenings.
Responsibilities
The duties for this role will include, serving customers in a polite and friendly manner, cooking, basic food preparation, ensuring kitchen, service and restaurant areas are kept clean, tidy and safe. Other duties will include cash handling and taking an active part in any unit sales promotions.
Ideal Candidate
* Polite and friendly
* Experienced in cooking
* MUST BE 18 years and over
* Neat and tidy in appearance
* Awareness of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards
* Good command of the English Language
* A 'can do' attitude, prepared to help out the rest of the team in a willing and positive manner
* Must be able to work both days at the weekend

Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation and cooking
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed
- Take customer orders and handle cash transactions
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area
- Restock inventory and monitor supplies
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of basic food preparation and cooking techniques
- Familiarity with food safety guidelines and regulations
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
Additional Skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order taking and food preparation
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with others to achieve common goals
