Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meals, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
* Support chefs during meal preparation by following instructions and recipes accurately.
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
* Help with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workspaces.
* Participate in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations during service periods.
* Assist with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely meal service.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is advantageous but not essential.
* Basic knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is preferred.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting.
