Location: Stevenage with some travel to Harlow and Cambridge sites
Salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

About the role
Role Overview:
As part of the EMCOR UK Facilities Team based at our Stevenage site and with occasion travel to our sister locations the EHS Administrator, under the supervision of the account EHS management team, will help aid completion of day-to-day EHS related tasks to enable the EHS team to remain focused on priority safety matters arising on the account and contribute towards the efficient running of the team.
What you'll do:
1. Work closely with the safety team on day-to-day activities to ensure all elements of the contract always meet only the highest standard of EHS performance.
2. Assist with collating, organising and reporting documented EHS accident incident reports.
3. Be an active part of EHS programs such as workplace inspections, hazard reporting including writing up reports and adding updates into company databases.
4. Champion Safety Observation Reports and incident / accident reporting across the contract.
5. Assist with liaising with external bodies and client for reporting of key statistics
6. Management of relevant historical EHS data
7. Preparation and distribution of monthly reports
8. Safety Management System document control and review
9. Central data collection and validation
10. Help prepare, proofread, and distribute EHS documents (Briefing Notes, Alerts, TBT,s etc)
11. Procure and distribute EHS related literature and supplies
12. Central co-ordination of business wide (site) HSE reviews and audits
13. Timely, accurate and well-reviewed communications
14. Mobile and able to cover for EHS team as requested at short notice
15. Support EHS Advisers when needed to create documents procedures or fill in as appropriate at meetings etc.
16. Record keeping of health and safety spreadsheets, including, accidents, near miss reports etc
17. Support the HSE Lead and department with general administration requirements.
Who you'll be:
18. Previous experience within a similar role preferably within a highly regulated industry
19. Experience working in a Health and Safety environment desirable
20. Good understanding of Risk Assessments
21. IOSH Managing safely desirable
22. Good interpersonal, customer and communication skills
23. Takes ownership and accountability and demonstrates commitment, loyalty, and flexibility.
24. Ability to work under pressure.
25. Excellent understanding and use of software packages such as Microsoft Office
26. Valid UK driving licence.
