Alongside Tennentâs, we produce Caledonia Best and a wide range of other well-known brands.\nBehind everything we do is our Engineering team, responsible for maintaining and improving the extensive plant and equipment that keeps the brewery running. Weâre now looking for an Engineering Apprentice to join the team and train as a multi skilled engineer, developing strong electrical and mechanical maintenance skills over a four-year programme.\nWhat weâre looking for\nThis apprenticeship is aimed at new entrants to maintenance engineering. From Year 2 onwards, youâll spend most of your time at Wellpark Brewery, supported by a team of experienced Engineers who will help you apply what youâve learned in a real production environment. Also attending college 1 Day per week.\nAs your apprenticeship progresses, youâll be involved in:\nâ¢\tLearning the full end to end brewing, filtration and packaging process\nâ¢\tAssisting with preventative and corrective maintenance across the site\nâ¢\tSupporting continuous improvement activities to extend machine life, improve efficiency, reduce waste and support smooth site operations\nâ¢\tHelping to identify innovative solutions to electrical and mechanical challenges\nâ¢\tFollowing safe systems of work to protect yourself, your colleagues and the site\nAlongside practical, on the job learning, youâll work towards a recognised engineering qualification.
