Are you an SEN Teacher?

About the School

Responsibilities

* Oversee and maintain high standards of quality in teaching and learning
* Participate in school development planning and ongoing self-assessment
* Offer professional guidance and support to teaching and support staff
* Advise the Head of Education on suitable resources and instructional materials
* Lead relevant professional development initiatives
* Uphold and promote the School's mission and objectives

Requirements

* Hold PGCE, QTS, or an equivalent teaching qualification, along with evidence of continued professional development.
* Solid understanding of Special Educational Needs, including relevant curricula and individualised learning plans.
* Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
* Experience in coaching and mentoring Learning Support Assistants, Teaching Assistants, and similar roles.
* Strong capabilities in planning, preparing, documenting, and evaluating student progress.
* Practical experience in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and those with complex communication or behavioural challenges.
