Applications are invited for Consultant Uro‑Radiologist at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will contribute to a high‑quality radiology service within a busy imaging department as part of the Uro‑radiology team.
Main duties of the job
In addition to specialist uro‑radiology service, the appointee will be expected to:
* Provide duty radiologist or inpatient CT or MR hot reporting on the general acute service.
* Check overnight on‑call reports and support trainees with acute general reporting.
* Intervene on call as part of the 1:10 Non‑Vascular Interventional Radiology (NVIR) rota, performing nephrostomies, abdominal and chest drainages and pneumothorax drainages.
* Support the Urology Cancer MDT, Stone MDT and other Uro‑interventions including trans‑perineal prostate biopsies.
The appointee will work closely with colleagues specialising in uro‑radiology, urologists and renal medicine physicians at Bradford Teaching Hospitals.
Person Specification
Experience
* Evidence of completing an approved period of training in radiology.
Qualifications
* MBCP or equivalent, FRCR or equivalent, Member of the Royal College of Radiologists (UK) or equivalent CCT or within 6 months of AAC date on Specialist Register with GMC and continue to hold a licence to practice.
