At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit 2 part time In Store Cleaners based in Sainsbury's Weymouth store on a permanent basis. 21 and 22.5 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.21.
Immediate start is available.
Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:
Shift Schedule
* 21 hour contract
o Sunday: 05:00 to 09:00
o Monday: 05:00 to 09:00
o Tuesday: Day off
o Wednesday: Day off
o Thursday: 05:00 to 09:00
o Friday: 05:00 to 09:00
o Saturday: 05:00 to 10:00
* 22.5 hour contract
o Sunday: 06:00 to 10:00
o Monday: Day Off
o Tuesday: 06:00 to 10:00
o Wednesday: 06:00 to 10:00
o Thursday: 06:00 to 10:00
o Friday: 06:00 to 10:00
o Saturday: 06:00 to 08:30
You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.
Responsibilities
* Operate machinery.
* Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
* In-store cleaning of toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies.
* Work outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris.
* Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied.
Arcus will support you through full training.
What do we need?
Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied.
An eye for detail and cleanliness.
A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.
Please note that you will need to provide a smartphone that has NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App that we use for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of your employment with us.
