Hays are delighted to be partnering with our client, a well-established accountancy practice in Belfast, who are seeking a VAT Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the VATpliance and advisory services for a portfolio of clients.
Your new role
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients
2. Review client VAT deliverables
3. Advise clients on personal tax matters
4. Oversee a small VAT tax team
5. Ensure projects are delivered on time
6. Build relationships and rapport with new and existing clients
7. Ad-hoc projects
What you'll need to succeed
Requirements:
8. Qualified Accountant or CTA
9. Extensive VAT tax experience
10. Managerial/ director experience
