Are you a driven social care law specialist looking to make a difference in the public sector? Venn Group is working with a positive and welcoming legal team in a London Borough in their pursuit of a Adult Social Care Lawyer on a locum basis for an initial 3-month period.
Requirements:
* Qualified Lawyer, with a valid practising certificate in the UK
* Specialism within Adult Social Care Law, with experience of practising post-qualification
* Experience working for any public sector organisation or local authority
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Advising on all matters of adult social care law, including court of protection
* Advising on areas of law such as the Mental Capacity Act, deputyship
* Attending and preparing for advocacy, advocacy is not a prerequisite for this role, but you can do if you like
* Representing the Borough and external clients as appropriate
* Deputise for senior members of the legal team as appropriate
