We are seeking a well organised, adaptable individual with experience of assessing safeguarding risk and multi-agency working in education systems. WHAT IS INVOLVED? The MASH is a multi-agency environment where partners are responsible for screening referrals into the Local Authority Children’s Services, applying thresholds and undertaking enquiries in relation to the presenting referrals. The role provides the vital education information required to fully inform these comprehensive multi-agency safeguarding assessments of risk, support decision making, as well as provide advice and guidance to other professionals as the link to education settings and services. You will be working in a multi-agency environment to ensure enquiries are made and assessments completed within statutory timeframes. You will also support children and young people who may be at risk of becoming missing from education through liaison with education settings, authorities and casework. You will be qualified to level 3 / 4 in a relevant subject area with substantial experience of working in an education or social care environment assessing risk and vulnerability. You will be able to demonstrate experience of multi-agency working within statutory frameworks and have the skills and knowledge to assess, analyse and collate complex information and communicate this effectively to partners.
