Duties as a Business Development Manager:
* Generate new business by prospecting and engaging with potential B2B clients
* Manage and develop relationships with existing and new customers within the Preston area
* Conduct outbound sales calls, face-to-face meetings, and follow-ups to achieve sales targets
* Promote and sell new and fleet vehicles, tailoring proposals to customer needs
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities
* Ensure compliance with company policies and vehicle sales procedures
* Stay updated on vehicle specifications and industry developments to enhance customer proposals
* Act as a brand ambassador to uphold dealership reputation and values
* Meet and beat set KPIs and sales objectives consistently
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar B2B vehicle sales role
* Strong understanding of fleet and vehicle sales processes
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Proactive, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently and within a team
* Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple leads and accounts effectively
* Valid driving licence is essential
* A positive attitude and a passion for automotive sales and customer service
