Overview
Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Logistics Office Manager for our client based in Cumbernauld.
Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise the logistics office team, ensuring tasks are allocated and completed effectively.
* Oversee daily logistics documentation including trailer manifests, delivery paperwork, and proof of deliveries.
* Respond to customer enquiries professionally and resolve any escalated service issues.
* Liaise with transport providers, warehouse staff, and suppliers to support logistics operations.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure data is updated in internal systems.
* Conduct performance reviews, foster a culture of accountability, and drive service improvements.
* Act as the QHSE point of contact: complete inspections, monitor metrics, and maintain documentation.
* Support internal and external audits by ensuring accurate records and compliance.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in logistics or supply chain office management (3–5 years).
* Proven leadership experience with strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
* Solid understanding of distribution planning, transport documentation, and work flow management.
* High proficiency in transport management systems, ERP tools, and Microsoft Office.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
* High attention to detail with a commitment to process accuracy and continuous improvement.
* Knowledge of QHSE practices and compliance requirements.
Offering
* Temp to perm opportunity.
* Salary: £38,000 – £40,000 depending on experience.
* Monday to Friday working between 7:00am and 7:00pm (exact hours flexible).
* On-call rota: 1 week in every 4.
* Based at the Cumbernauld depot.
