What you'll need to succeed Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience teaching in primary settings, ideally with confidence in Year 3 or across KS2. Strong behaviour management and the ability to build rapport quickly with new classes. Secure curriculum knowledge and the confidence to deliver high-quality lessons, even with limited preparation time.
