An established Tier 1 Civil Engineering contractor is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Manager to join their team in Birmingham. This is a chance to work on a significant heavy civils project in the West Midlands, contributing to the development of a landmark project in the region.

Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the commercial aspects of the project, ensuring cost control and budget adherence.
2. Oversee all commercial functions, including cost reporting, contract administration, and risk management.
3. Mentor and guide junior staff members within the team.
4. Contribute to the overall success of the project, adhering to deadlines and meeting client expectations.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Commercial Manager with a strong track record of success on large-scale civil engineering projects.
2. Excellent knowledge of cost management principles and practices.
3. Strong leadership and communication skills.
4. Ability to lead and motivate teams.
5. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
6. Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field.
