Job Description
Based at County Buildings, Market Street, Forfar.
This job is Workstyle 3 – Flexi
You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from a variety of locations including working from council buildings and you can work from home to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.
You will advise, assist and represent clients in all matters relating to benefits and debt.
You will manage a caseload of a mixture of benefit and debt cases. This will include all aspects of advice and representation at Appeal tribunals and court if required. This will also include all aspects of debt advice including statutory debt options. You may be required to deliver training and to mentor other staff members in the team.
You will be required to travel throughout Angus in the course of your duties and you will be required to provide your own vehicle. You must also ensure that your motor insurance policy covers business use.
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory PVG scheme check.
