Job Role: Project Manager
Duration: Contract
Duties: Accountable for coordinating and completing projects, overseeing all aspects from start to finish. Responsibilities include setting deadlines, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and summarizing outcomes. Prepares project status reports for senior leadership. A bachelor’s degree may be required. Must be well-versed in a range of concepts, practices, and procedures relevant to the field. Uses substantial experience and sound judgment to achieve objectives. Carries out a range of tasks and provides leadership and direction to others. A high level of creativity and autonomy is anticipated. Typically reports to a unit or departmental manager.
Experience Level: Manages projects through their entire lifecycle, from initial concept to final closeout. Builds and maintains relationships with internal stakeholders and external contractors. Acts as a local representative of the brand and delivers project management services to clients.
Skills: Proficient in managing scientific infrastructure and automation projects from inception to closure, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, schedule, and budget.
Education: Holds an appropriate project management qualification. Possesses a scientific and/or engineering background. Familiar with or experienced in CDM 2015, RIBA stages, and CIBSE standards.
