We currently have a vacancy for a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance Business Partnering team.
The Finance Business Partnering Team is an exciting group of passionate individuals working together to maximise the impact of our funding. We collaborate closely with policy and delivery teams to monitor performance against budgets, plan future funding requirements, and work with investors and external funders to develop innovative funding solutions that help us achieve our mission as a Combined Authority.

The Role
Reporting into the Senior Finance Business Partner, your key responsibilities will include:
Budget Management: providing senior decision makers and Directors at the Combined Authority with advice and analysis of their budgets and financial strategies to support them in delivering their desired outcomes.
Financial Planning: working with senior stakeholders to provide insight and advice, overseeing the management of capital and revenue plans.
Financial Performance: lead monthly management accounts and forecasting, annual budgets and ensure links to business planning.

About You
You will have the following key skills, attributes, education and experience:
CIMA / CCAB qualified (CIPFA, ACCA, ICAEW, ICAS, ICAI), or equivalent experience.
Practical experience of successfully performing in a similar role.
Strong communication skills with the proven ability to influence, negotiate and challenge.
Experience of analysing financial information and maintaining systems of internal financial control.
Advanced user of Excel, with strong skills in other Microsoft office packages.
