We’re looking for a practical, people-first Area Manager with a proven ability to take ownership of performance, and inspire teams to reach their full potential, to oversee a network of branches across Shetland, Orkney, Aberdeen, Banchory, Dundee, Broxburn Brick and Stone and Grangemouth.
What you'll be doing:
1. Leading and supporting your branch teams to drive sales, margin and exceptional service
2. Building a positive, inclusive culture where every colleague feels empowered to contribute and grow
3. Analysing business insights to guide planning and performance improvements
4. Strengthening key supplier relationships to maximise their support in the delivery of our business objectives
5. Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and colleague development
6. Promoting a safe, customer-focused environment with high operational standards

What you’ll bring:
You’ll need to know your stuff when it comes to the Builder’s Merchants world and be able to show how you’ve helped branches or regions grow—both in sales and profit.
