2026 Graduate Programme – Transport & Infrastructure – Roads

WSP invites applications for the 2026 Graduate Programme – Transport & Infrastructure – Roads role.


About the Role

As a Graduate Engineer in the Roads team, you will contribute to delivering national and regional infrastructure frameworks, support major projects and local improvements, and gain exposure to high‑profile initiatives such as HS2, Sizewell C, Smart Motorways, Dublin MetroLink and more.


Locations

* Truro, Exeter, Bristol, Cardiff, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Cambridge, Basingstoke, Guildford, London, Naas, Limerick


Key Responsibilities

* Design and draft transport solutions for national and regional schemes.
* Attend site visits and inspections to gather project data.
* Analyse data and produce technical reports.
* Coordinate project tasks and liaise with stakeholders.
* Assist senior engineers and support project delivery.

* NM20 Cork to Limerick
* A5 Western Transport Corridor


Graduate Development Programme

Our two‑year Graduate Development Programme offers blended learning, professional skills training, mentoring, networking and support to achieve chartered status with bodies such as ICE.


Eligibility & Qualifications

* Minimum 2:2 in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
* Strong passion for engineering and enthusiasm to solve problems creatively.
* Flexible start dates – April or September 2026.
