£11.44 per hour – Monday to Friday & Sunday
I am looking to recruit a reliable, organized personal assistant to support a lady living with Korsakoff’s dementia, so that she can remain living independently in her own home.
She is supported by her family, but would like to have the opportunity to go out and about independently.
Initially, the post is to ensure that medication is taken, but it is hoped that as trust builds that social and community activities can be built into a weekly routine. Social activities would include shopping trips or visits to local cafes.
Duties to include :
Morning call – around 10 am – duration 45 minutes
Evening call – around 8 pm – duration 45 minutes
The remaining hours would be discussed and agreed with client.
Own transport is essential and an enhanced DBS check will be required.
The cost of the DBS will be met by the employer Services
