We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Senior PET CT Radiographer/Technologist to join our Team at
The successful candidate will have either HCPC or an equivalent voluntary registration, you should have a background in Nuclear Medicine, preferably with experience of PET-CT, and be experienced in handling and dispensing radiopharmaceuticals. A high level of competency in cannulation is preferable.
A candidate with significant experience working as a Radiographer will also be considered as training in PET-CT can be provided.
You should have a patient-focused attitude to ensure patient care is delivered to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. We are looking for a flexible, adaptable team player who has excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Experience:
* Experienced in PET-CT an advantage
* IV Cannulation Certificate preferred-training will be provided
* Must be IT literate
* Enhanced DBS clearance required
* Flexibility to operate across multiple sites if required
* CT experienced desirable
Main duties of the job
You will undertake a competency programme in PET-CT to develop your knowledge and help you gain a full understanding of PET-CT. Training will be delivered "On the Job" and in collaboration with the Christie School of Oncology via the PET-CT training academy. You will also be required to IV cannulate patients as part of the role. Rest assured, should you not have any prior experience in IV cannulation, Alliance Medical will provide full training.
The following are additions to the role:
* Experience and knowledge in area of expertise desired but not essential
* BSc/DCR in Diagnostic Radiography and/or Diploma in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent is essential.
* Awareness of, and compliance with Alliance Medical Policies and Procedures, Radiation Regulations (IRMER, IRR 99 and EPR 2010) if modality requires this, CQC requirements and Health and Safety legislation
* Awareness of, and compliance with Data Protection and Patient confidentiality
* Undertake initial and refresher mandatory training to ensure compliance at all times
