Reporting directly to a senior group finance leader, you'll play a pivotal role supporting both the internal commercial teams and senior stakeholders across multiple businesses in the wider portfolio.\n\nThis role offers variety, exposure to decision-makers, and the chance to work hands-on with growing businesses at different stages of their journey. As the organisation continues to scale, the scope of this position will naturally evolve - making it an ideal fit for someone who thrives in a changing environment.\n\nThe Role:\n\nBuild collaborative relationships with internal teams and external partners across the group\nSupport commercial and sales teams to drive revenue and sustainable business growth\nAssist subsidiaries and partner businesses with forecasting, reporting, and financial planning\nConduct financial analysis to offer performance insights and highlight growth opportunities\nLead reviews of management accounts to deepen understanding of each business's financial landscape\nInvestigate financial discrepancies and assist in resolution efforts\nPrepare and present business forecasts and budgets\nAttend performance review meetings with investors and directors where relevant\nContribute to group-wide budgeting and forecasting processes\nDeliver scenario modelling and financial projections to inform strategic planning\nCreate and maintain insightful management information (MI) reports to aid decision-making\nContinually improve modelling techniques and MI reporting standards\nEnsure accuracy and consistency in all financial outputs through robust controls\nProvide support on ad hoc reports, presentations, and deep dives across the finance function \n\nThe ideal candidate:\n\nACCA/CIMA qualification (or equivalent)\nStrong background in both financial and commercial analysis\nA proactive attitude and attention to detail\nExcellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience\nAnalytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities\nExperience working under pressure and meeting deadlines\nAn understanding of how businesses operate beyond the numbers\nProficiency in distilling complex financial data into clear, actionable insightsWhat is on offer?\n\nSalary up to £55,000\nHybrid working (2 days from home)\nFantastic business and team\nPrivate medicalAt Gleeson Recruitment Group, we embrace inclusivity and welcome applicants of all backgrounds, experiences, and abilities.
