Being a Cover Supervisor is the perfect way to get stuck into school life without the full teacher workload. You will be stepping into classrooms across secondary schools in Leeds, keeping lessons running and making sure students stay engaged and on track.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supervising lessons when teachers are absent
* Following pre-prepared lesson plans
* Managing behaviour and keeping pupils focused
* Building positive relationships with students
* Getting a real feel for different schools and subjects
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has experience working with young people (schools, youth work, tutoring, coaching – all great!)
* Can stay calm, confident, and consistent in the classroom
* Brings energy and flexibility to the role
* Is considering teaching in the future or simply enjoys working with secondary students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
