Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our team. The post is 6 sessions per week with the option of 2 Saturday mornings per month paid at an enhanced rate. We are a friendly, supportive practice based in Northwich, Cheshire, with just under 10,500 patients. We have 4 GP partners, 3 salaried GPs, 2 Practice Nurses, 1 HCA, Pharmacist and MSK Specialist, and we are a training practice with a high QOF achievement and a low home visit rate. We value work/life balance and offer a competitive salary depending on experience.

Working pattern: Part-time (6 sessions per week; option of 2 Saturday mornings per month at enhanced rate)
Responsibilities
* Provide general medical services and manage a caseload in a primary care setting to maintain high standards of care for registered and temporary patients.
* Undertake surgery consultations, telephone consultations, home visits, and manage repeat prescriptions; handle queries and administrative tasks promptly.
* Make professional, autonomous medical decisions; assess health care needs of patients with undifferentiated problems; screen for disease risk factors.
* Develop care plans in collaboration with patients, provide counselling and health education, and refer to other care providers as appropriate.
* Record clear, contemporaneous notes and participate in audits; contribute to the development of computer-based patient records and Read-Coding where relevant.
* Prescribe in line with local or national guidelines; contribute to quality improvements and service evaluation within the practice.
Other Responsibilities Within The Organisation
* Adhere to practice policies and guidelines on prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, and health and safety.
* Engage in lifelong learning and participate in audits and training events; support the development of clinical standards and computerised patient records.
* Support quarterly Enhancing Service returns, QOF and related funding processes.

Qualifications
Essential: Relevant professional qualifications and UK registration; current UK professional registration as applicable to the role.
